My admiration

 In the university, the professional I admire the most is the teacher "Andrea Paula Lima". The dr. Andrea Paula Lima, academic at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Chile and researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Neurosciences (BNI), Director of the Institute for Research in Dental Sciences (ICOD), of the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Chile. She was born in the Río de Janeiro, Brasil, and the 2007 year. She´s arrived in Chile, and now she is one of the researchers natiowide. She made great step in alzheimer research, winning the prize for beat young researcher, in the year 2017.  I like his form of explain, pronunciation, dynamic of the class, etc.  With her, you will never fall asleep, she´s so funny and strives for us to learn. I consider it incredible that such intelligent and recognized people can give us classes. I never imagined that this could happen. That´s why have to take adventage of every class we have.

Luna, the dog of memories

 This photo is important to me because it is the last photo I have of Luna, a dog that always watched her when we went out with my family on vacation to the south, specifically in Futrono, near Valdivia.  The photo makes me nostalgic and many good memories, since on that occasion, Luna had hunted a mouse, and just at that moment I took a photo of her, where you can see the mouse's tail hanging from her mouth.  I showed the photo to my whole family, and they all laughed, since they knew Luna precisely because she was very hyperactive, and for that very reason, they expected her to be able to do something like that.  Even though Luna was not my pet (because she was my neighbor's pet), she would always come over to our cabin, and she would play with us.  I feel very sorry every time I say goodbye to her, but I know that next summer I will see her again.

Blog post 3: My favorite piece of technology

In 2020, when the pandemic was present, I was working in an electronics company, making tickets and invoices for those who bought online. When I received my salary, I saved money to buy a laptop, which at that time I needed to study. When I bought it, I learned how to use it, And not only to study, but to play with my friends, watch series, listen to music, etc. It became my favorite electronic device, as I never thought I could stay so long in front of a screen, playing and laughing with my friends, and besides, I can take it everywhere with me. I highly recommend having a laptop, as you can work on it, entertain yourself and learn through it. I consider it very useful for these times where technology is so necessary to do everything.

Blog post 2: My carrier

 My preferences have changed over time, well, since I was a child, i liked astronomy. I like the universe, the planets, the stars, constellations, galaxies, etc. Many times I see the night sky, as I find it beautiful. Before, in my fourteen years old, I begin interested in health careers. Medicine, dentistry, kinesiology, speech therapist, there were many options, but, by the will of my god, I am studying dentistry.  For me, being a dentist is not a job that you are constantly being pressured, it´s just you and the patient. That´s why I decided to study dentistry.  My experience at the university has been good, although I feel that I still have to adapt to the pace of study. But in general, for me, I really like the university.

Autobiography J.B.

My name is Javier Benavides, I am nineteen years old. I was born on february 15th, in San Miguel, Santiago but I lived in south Pudahuel until I was fourteen years old. Since I was a little boy I have believed in Jesus Christ and since then I am in the church. I live with my mom, my dad, my little brother, my grandma and my dog Any. I went to Monseñor Carlos Oviedo school for about ten years and in eight grade I participated in a knowledge competition, where I won the first place, giving the school a prize.  Then I got to the high school José Victorino Lastarrias and a year after I graduated I went to a pre-university where I studied for PDT and PAES. Nowadays I am studying the career of dentistry in the university of Chile.
